I had just popped under the clouds coming down a localizer approach at Connelsville, PA. I was concentrating on the end of the runway that was partially obscured by blowing snow. About a mile out, Liz (wife) and Mike (nephew) blurted out, "There's a snow-plow in the runway!" While I was executing the go-around, Mike and I chuckled, "Pig on the runway." Fortunately, the ceiling and visibility (1000-feet, 3 miles) made the go-around easy.
